How To Keep Sane While Working From Home

Routine. Routine. Routine.

  1. Keep that alarm on and do your workout at home or in the park – if you don’t work out, that’s fine, brew an extra cup of coffee!

  2. Shower and get dressed in your new “work wear”.

  3. Get to your “office” at 9am – for me it’s a brisk 10 step walk to the kitchen table. Think about all the travel costs you’ve saved.

  4. Check in with your team and have a video meeting. Nothing like keeping virtual human contact right now.

  5. Lunch: lots of fruits and vegetables – that’s what I have been told by my partner who is studying to be a nutritionist.

  6. Don’t forget to move about – regular walking and get up every 60-90mins.

  7. Be kind and patient – this situation has inevitably caused a spike in anxiety at work and in the home. We are all trying to be as agile as we can. As the news evolves be kind to yourself, your family, co-workers and suppliers. Our actions will be remembered.
